    A/AA - Creative Gift Wrap
    Add beauty and a personal touch with these gift wrapping ideas which use
    or recycle common household items.  The package on the outside can be as wonderful
    as the gift on the inside.  Great way to dress up those "White elephant gifts" too.



    B/BB and I/II - Folk Art Christmas Tree - This session is FULL

    Create a Christmas tree from buttons and burlap to make a picture to frame
    bringing a touch of folk art into the beauty of simplicity.


    C/CC/LL - Snowman Pockets - This session is FULL

    With a simple sponge and a little paint, remake a jean
    pocket into a whimsical snowman to be used as a Christmas
    ornament, wall pocket for candy canes or make a set and replace the stockings
    by the fire with pockets.  Could be a creative way to wrap a small gift also.


    D/DD and H/HH - Decorative Oil Lamp - This Session is FULL

    Create a small oil lamp that will add to the holiday atmosphere whether
    lit or not.  Here you have a choice of a snowman or Christmas holiday theme.

    E/EE and K/KK - Decoupage Plate - This session is FULL

    Use the technique of decoupage to personalize a serving plate with holiday fabric.  This
    could be a decoration to your own table next season OR used as a gift.  Just fill it with your
    own favorite cookies and pass it along to someone special.



    F/FF and G/GG - Build a Snowman - This session is FULL

    Create a snowman from picture frames and decorate with Christmas and
    winter notions to create a season long wall decoration.

    J/JJ- Green Centerpiece

    Create a beautiful center piece from greens, pinecones, and berries.  Can
    be used to decorate any desk, small table, etc.


    L - Tutu Ornament


    Create ornaments to give your Christmas tree it's own look next
    season.  These ornaments will add color and interest to your tree or can be
    used as a gift.

    A/AA Maple Syrup 101: Learn the basics to tapping the maple trees in


    your yard and making your own Wisconsin maple syrup.


    B/BB Pottery Demonstration: Pittsville’s New Pittsville Pottery owner,
    Dave Lyons will demonstrate the use of the potters wheel and likely
    explain the significance of being clay in the Master’s hands.

    Gift/Portfolio Bags: Create small gift bag from scrapbook paper



    and supplies. These creative little bags can even have multiple
    pockets and dividers. These bags are as much a gift as the gift they
    enclose!

    list ‘to do’ list will keep your lists handy and available at all times.

    new scarf. Scarves are the current fashion and these would be a
    great gift idea for all ages.

    Learn to make long stemmed button flowers that


    can be used to accent flower arrangements or create flower
    arrangements with them. Make and take two flowers home to
    begin the creation of your own bouquet using your own ‘button bin’.

    Stenciled Tire:
    Remake the sidewall of a tire into a new lawn



    ornament by painting and stenciling. This creation can be used as a
    wall hanging or a bird feeder.




    K/KK Get Started- Planting: Learn to make seed starting pots from
    newspaper and plant seeds to welcome in spring. Bring a plastic
    shoe box and seeds of your choice IF you wish to get a serious
    start to this project.

    Homemade Hand/Body Scrub: Learn to make a variety of hand



    and body scrubs from common household ingredients. These
    recipes have been tried, tested and appreciated.

    together.

    A/AA:  Wool processing and spinning demonstration- Julie and family run a small hobby farm that is ‘productive’.  She has a small flock of sheep that she sheers and then turns the wool into useful products.  She will demonstrate carding, spinning and finishing techniques for wool.




    B/BB:               Backyard birding demonstration- Nancy from General Farm Supply of Marshfield will demonstrate techniques for attracting birds to your backyard.  What a perfect time to learn a new hobby and add to the beauty of your own back yard.

    Here are the 2012 crafts!!

    SORRY, THIS CRAFT IF FULL
     
                                   A/AA: Gifts in a Jar- Join in the fun of decorating jars for giving gifts.  Fun colored paper, ribbon, buttons and creativity will produce great gift wrapped container out of a jar. There are three different designs.

         SORRY, THIS CRAFT IF FULL.
                                 B/BB: Stamping Cards- Come create your own greeting cards with the help of an instructor, lots of cool paper, a variety of stamps and many great ideas for making the cards yours.  Remember to check your calendar before you come so you know who and what occasion you are in need of next for friends and family.

                        SORRY, THIS CRAFT IS FULL.
                                     C/CC: Kitchenware Wind Chime- It’s spring!  Time to clean out the cupboards and find new uses for all those old metal utensils and metal containers, tea pots, trays, strainers, and jello molds.  Create a wind chime by combining these objects with a little fish line, a few holes and a bunch of knots.


    SORRY, THIS CRAFT IS FULL
                                    E/EE: Decorative  cross from cinnamon sticks- Adorn a cross made of cinnamon sticks with assorted floral items, ribbon and accents.  Great as magnets or window accents.  Make a set and decorate for Christmas and Easter.


                                   F/FF:  Wool Wreath- scraps of wool, old fabric, fleece, or even that old blazer/suit coat in the back of the closet and be cut into squares and thread together to create wreaths over varying sizes and colors.  Whether used as ornaments or wall hangings, these wreaths will provide a warm cozy feel to their space.


               SORRY, THIS CRAFT IS FULL.
                                   G/GG: Spindle Garden Angel- Create a primitive spindle garden angel out of some wire, scrap wood, a heart cookie cutter and a few nails.  This angel will be a great addition to your spring flower/vegetable garden.

          *H/HH: Fall Wreath- Decorate grapevine wreaths the size of a door wreath with fall accents.


                                    *I/II: Lace Decoration- Create an ornament or window decoration/magnet out of scrap lace and a selection of accents.  Great item to use as a gift wrapping accessory too!

        SORRY, THIS CRAFT IS FULL.
                                     *J/JJ: Tea for the Birds- Too many odds and ends of mugs and tea cups in your cupboards.  Remake them into fashionable bird feeders by creating and adorning a wire hanger for each cup and saucer. 


                                   L/LL: Crochet a Potholder - Come learn to crochet by starting a basic potholder.  If you have experience with this skill, join the group and help teach someone else an old skill that’s fading.  (Remember you get to take the potholder and hook with you)
                                   D/DD: Cake Decorating Demonstration- The session will offer a demonstration of different cake decorating techniques and styles taught by Kristi’s Kountry Cakes
                                  *K/KK: Ceramic Demonstration- A local ceramic instructor, Sharon Piller, will demonstrate ceramic painting techniques and share some great ideas on what supplies are needed to get started with this hobby. 
                                 *Rooms are located in the basement
